Creators list a product, set a price, and Whop handles checkout. Many products gate a Discord, Telegram, or in-app community after payment. Whop's own pricing page puts it as pay-as-you-go: no setup fee, no monthly fee for the seller.

How many products are on Whop?

As of 18 August 2026 we track 397,460 products. That is the number to quote. It is not the same as unique buyers, and it is not Whop's own published user count — we do not have that.

Who actually makes money on Whop?

8.2% of listings earn anything in our model. 32,691 products have measurable estimated revenue. 364,769 do not. Among earners, the median is $96/month and the average is $2,695/month. That gap is the whole story.

Of the 32,691 earners, 22,936 (70%) make under $500/month. 1,019 clear $10K. 121 clear $100K. The top 1% of earners — 327 products — take 64.9% of estimated platform revenue.

What kinds of products are on Whop?

By Whop's business_type field, coaching and courses hold $30.3M estimated MRR across 57,632 listings. Paid groups hold $24.3M across 32,234. Software holds $6.9M across 16,838. Most listings have no business type at all (272,103) — the taxonomy is incomplete, so treat those buckets as a floor.

By niche, sports picks is the largest volume money category we would actually describe as a market: 19,450 listings, 2,142 earners, $5.16M estimated MRR.

Real-estate wholesaling ranks higher on estimated MRR (~$15.0M) because one $5,000/month listing with 2,892 active users and zero members dominates the estimate. We do not treat that row as a typical outcome. Nutrition coaching has the same shape: 27 earners and a $3.49M total.

Are there free products on Whop?

Revenue is estimated from publicly visible price and activity fields, not from Whop's private ledger. Median and average earner figures exclude $0 listings. Company count is distinct company_id values. We do not have a unique-user total; summing member_count across products double-counts people who join more than one listing.

Seller fee figures cite Whop's pricing page and docs.whop.com/fees. Older snapshots stay as published: we do not rewrite historical posts when the catalog moves.
