Add Whop Trends to ChatGPT
Add the free Whop Trends plugin to ChatGPT. ChatGPT can then show trending Whop products and creator hub growth, with links to whoptrends.com.
Before you start
- A ChatGPT plan that allows custom MCP servers. OpenAI's help center lists Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu, on the web only.
- No Whop Trends account and no key.
- Answers leave out revenue estimates. Revenue needs Pro and the MCP server at /api/mcp.
Setup
1. Open ChatGPT plugins
On chatgpt.com, open Plugins. Select the + button, then Add custom MCP server.
Custom MCP servers are a developer feature. If you do not see the option, turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings in ChatGPT settings.
2. Fill in the form
ChatGPT warns that a custom server can read your chats. Select I understand and want to continue. Then select Create as a plugin.
Form values
Name: Whop Trends Server URL: https://whoptrends.com/api/chatgpt/mcp Authentication: No authentication
3. Install the plugin
Open chatgpt.com/plugins?view=personal. Open Whop Trends and select the + button to install it.
4. Use it in a chat
In a new chat, type @ and pick Whop Trends. ChatGPT also uses it on its own when a question is about Whop.
Check the connection
- Whop Trends shows in your personal plugins.
- The first prompt returns a list of Whop products with links to whoptrends.com.
First prompt
Paste this into a new chat
Show trending Whop products. Then tell me which creator hubs grew the most on Whop.
Notes
- OpenAI is reviewing the Whop Trends plugin for its plugin directory. After approval you can install it from the directory, and this page will link it.
- The plugin leaves out revenue estimates. For revenue in an agent, use Whop Trends Pro with Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
