Runbook Review

Runbook Review is an it consulting product available on the Whop marketplace, created by Cold Restore and launched in September 2026.

A review of one recovery runbook, read by somebody who has never seen the system. Every step tested for whether it can actually be executed as written: named commands and consoles rather than described intentions, explicit ordering, and stated outcomes a reader can check before moving on. Every assumed dependency surfaced — the credential, the access, the network path, the document stored inside the system being recovered. Decision points that have no decision criteria. Steps that silently require a person who may not be available. Returned as findings step by step with what a stranger would do at each, plus the dependencies the document never names. Three business days from the brief arriving. Nothing is executed, nothing is tested against live systems, and no runbook is rewritten.
