Search Whop for "indicator" and you get 1,736 products. Scripts, algos, Pine Script bundles, "AI-powered" chart overlays — an entire cottage industry built on top of TradingView's charting platform.
We pulled every one of them and estimated revenue. The result is one of the harshest power laws on Whop: 82% of indicator products earn nothing at all.

The 18% Problem
Of 1,736 indicator products on Whop, only 321 generate measurable revenue. That is an 18.5% hit rate — and "hit" is generous, since the median earner brings in $200 a month.
| Monthly Revenue | Products | Share of Earners |
|---|---|---|
| Under $500 | 205 | 64% |
| $500–$1K | 30 | 9% |
| $1K–$5K | 55 | 17% |
| $5K–$10K | 13 | 4% |
| $10K–$50K | 16 | 5% |
| $50K+ | 2 | 1% |
Two products account for roughly 63% of the entire category's estimated revenue. Strip them out and the remaining 319 earners split about $541K — an average of $1,697 each, not the $4,542 the raw mean suggests.
Revenue Distribution
Price Is the Strongest Signal in the Data
Among monthly-billed indicators, average revenue climbs monotonically with price. Every step up the pricing ladder roughly doubles average revenue — until the $200+ tier, where it explodes.
| Price Tier | Products | Avg. MRR | Median MRR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under $25 | 45 | $645 | $50 |
| $25–$49 | 76 | $954 | $150 |
| $50–$99 | 47 | $2,585 | $950 |
| $100–$199 | 18 | $4,550 | $1,036 |
| $200+ | 10 | $76,151 | $1,280 |
Look at the gap between average and median in the $200+ tier: $76,151 versus $1,280. That tier contains the category's biggest outlier. The median tells the honest story — a $200+ indicator typically earns $1,280/month, which is still 25x what a sub-$25 indicator earns.
The cheapest tier is also the most crowded. 121 of 196 monthly-billed earners charge under $50, and they earn a median of $50–$150/month. Competing on price in this category means competing for scraps.
The pattern mirrors what we found in most profitable niches on Whop: low-ticket products in saturated categories almost never scale, because volume never arrives to compensate for the margin.
The Top Earners
These are the highest-earning indicator products with a meaningful review base.
| Product | Est. MRR | Price | Rating | Reviews |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ORB Indicator / Nasdaq100 | $725,000 | $2,500/mo | 5.0 | 6 |
| Crypto Alpha Leaks: Degenpump | $191,724 | One-time | 5.0 | 2,831 |
| Stock Moe Earner Plus | $40,585 | $163/mo | 5.0 | 30 |
| One Shot Algo Indicator | $37,325 | $15/wk | 4.7 | 38 |
| Indicators By Rootkit | $30,254 | Lifetime | — | 15 |
| Profit Indicator | $19,628 | One-time | 3.9 | 17 |
| Bucko's Indicator | $19,600 | $200/mo | 4.6 | 22 |
| AI Indicator + Discord | $17,698 | $75/mo | 5.0 | 187 |
| MOT Pivot Hunter Pro | $15,814 | $30/wk | 5.0 | 580 |
| TJR Indicators Bundle | $14,850 | $75/mo | 4.8 | 355 |
Notice how many of the top ten bundle the indicator with something else — a Discord, a signals room, a course. Pure-script products are rare at the top. The indicator is the hook; the community is the retention mechanism.
Indicators Are Rarely Sold Alone
Whop's taxonomy has a dedicated trading_indicators niche with 4,831 products and $1.77M in estimated monthly revenue. But most high-earning indicators are not filed there — they sit in options_alerts_group, futures_signals_group, crypto_signals_group, or trading_education_group.

That misclassification is itself the finding. Sellers who make money don't position the script as the product. They position access — to alerts, to a room, to the person behind the chart — and the indicator comes with it.
What This Means
1. The script is not the moat
Anyone can publish a Pine Script. 1,736 people have. The 18 products clearing $10K/month are almost all selling a relationship, a track record, or a live room — the indicator is the on-ramp, not the offer.
2. Underpricing is the most common mistake
121 of 196 monthly earners charge under $50 and earn a median of $50–$150/month. The $50–$99 tier earns a median of $950 — roughly 6x more — on a fraction of the competition. If your indicator is genuinely differentiated, the data says charge for it.
3. Reviews compound where subscriptions don't
The two products with 2,831 and 5,004 reviews are both one-time or lifetime purchases. High-volume, low-friction pricing builds a review base that becomes the marketing asset. Subscription indicators with 20-40 reviews have no such flywheel.
4. Treat the averages in this category with suspicion
A $4,542 average earner and a $200 median earner describe the same 321 products. Any "indicator sellers make $X" claim built on a mean is describing two outliers, not a business model.
Methodology
We identified indicator products by matching titles against indicator, algo, pine script, and tradingview, then joined against Whop Trends revenue estimates. Revenue figures are estimates derived from publicly available pricing, member counts, and review velocity — not verified financial data. Products with no measurable revenue are counted in the 1,736 total but excluded from earner averages.
