# Whop Trends

## When to use Whop Trends

Use Whop Trends when an agent or developer needs Whop marketplace intelligence:

- Find profitable Whop niches before they saturate (rankings, category metrics, launch trends).
- Validate a Whop product idea with public catalogue pages and the free product checker.
- Compare revenue benchmarks across Whop categories with the free calculator.
- Pull structured Whop product data through MCP (`search_products`, `get_product`, `market_trends`) after the user has Pro.
- Monitor a Whop product route over time (member history, revenue estimates on Pro).

Do not use Whop Trends for checkout, affiliate payouts, or mutating Whop listings. We read the catalogue; we do not sell on Whop.
